Security

The solution of dedicated server security depends on the chosen server administration program. While having Own administration program, you are (as owner) responsible for safety politics settings. When you have Complete administration program, Westmaster takes care about security.

We perform standard server security on operating system level, which means configuration of system services and servis-pack installation so as security risks of unauthorized server access or correct running interference is eliminated or at least minimized.

For all programs is allowed to use Westmaster firewall - including the availability of individual firewall security politics settings for needs of concrete server.

Standard firewall communication is allowed for HTTP (p:80), HTTPS (p:443), SSH (p:22) and FTP (p:21). For SSH and FTP service (and maybe for other services) is completing the definitions of permitted/forbidden IP addresses possible.
