Our network

Westmaster ISP Corp. network has been engineered from the ground up to accommodate the high-availability demands of high-bandwidth websites. We only deploy award-winning CISCO technology. Westmaster network internet connection is fully redundant, have 2 bandwidth providers, Sprint and Level3.

We deploy BGP4 (border gateway protocol) version 4. The BGP4 protocol is a standard that allows for the routing of packets of information sent out from the Westmaster Network. Each packet of information is evaluated and sent over the best route possible. Because of our redundant network architecture, packets may be sent via alternative routes even if they are being delivered to the same end user. Should one of our providers fail, packets leaving our network are automatically redirected through another route via a different provider.

Due to the contracts with backbone providers the content delivery speed is guaranteed in dependence of the customer geographic region.

Our company uses on principle only prestigious Cisco Systems boxes. Backbone is shaped by gigabit lines. Redundant connections to other backbones are made by 100Mbit lines.
